20:03 <luke-jr> Manuel Moos (z-man) has accepted the invitation to make Armagetron
20:03 <luke-jr> Advanced Developers (armagetronad-dev) a member of Armagetron Advanced
20:03 <luke-jr> Website Developers (armagetronad-web).
20:04 <luke-jr> z-man: was that specifically to me for some reason?
20:04 <z-man> No.
20:10 <ct|kyle> z-man: how should I go about implementing a chat filter. something like command FILTER_WORD <Word or saying> <filtered word or saying>
20:10 <z-man> I have one implemented, just not for tron.
20:10 <z-man> I'm against filtering generally because it simply does not work.
20:11 <z-man> Though I must say replacing 'fuck' with 'smeg' every time is quite funny :)
20:13 <ct|kyle> I'm thinking it would work a bit for Destiny, at least she would now be able to filter out some of the words
20:13 <z-man> Yeah, but as soon as you filter, people get creative.
20:14 <ct|kyle> you just add their creativeness into the filters
20:17 <sinewav> trying to get some fort players to play me team in Plus+ fortress.
20:17 <epsy> use something similar to what's in the server browser
20:19 <ct|kyle> for the fitering, I'm just not sure how to read in all the filters
20:21 <luke-jr> ct|kyle: it's an arms race
20:25 <luke-jr> ct|kyle: poke
20:26 <luke-jr> ct|kyle: you should merge lp:~luke-jr/armagetronad/0.2.8-armagetronad-sty+ct and put up a notice not to merge from lp:armagetronad/0.2.8 anymore
20:27 <ct|kyle> luke-jr: why?
20:27 <luke-jr> because lp:armagetronad/0.2.8 isn't really sty+ct's parent branch
20:27 <luke-jr> sty+ct is based on sty
20:28 <ct|kyle> I was just merging it with 0.2.8
20:28 <luke-jr> that's the problem

20:34 <luke-jr> ct|kyle: you should be merging it with 0.2.8-sty
20:36 <ct|kyle> did you merge in the modifications for eChat?
20:36 <luke-jr> wtf?
20:36 <ct|kyle> well the chat part of ePlayer at the time
20:36 <luke-jr> O.o?
20:38 <ct|kyle> I have to check it out
20:38 <ct|kyle> not enough time though
20:38 <luke-jr> how is that related to the topic of getting sty+ct back on sync?
20:39 <ct|kyle> technically I think when voodoo put in on bzr he forked it from 0.2.8
20:40 <luke-jr> voodoo's last merge was with 0.2.8-sty ;)
20:40 <luke-jr> either way, I fixed it in my branch
20:40 <luke-jr> so it merges from 0.2.8-sty again
20:47 <ct|kyle> I'll look at it later luke-jr, I'm not sure about merges 664 and 665
20:47 <luke-jr> ?
20:49 <ct|kyle> in fact your last merge (665) duplicates lines
20:49 <ct|kyle> luke-jr: http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~luke-jr/armagetronad/0.2.8-armagetronad-sty+ct/revision/665
20:50 <luke-jr> hmm
20:50 <luke-jr> that would eb a problem
20:51 <luke-jr> stupid weave merge is so unreliable

» Layout is loosely based on an old design by Durf.

» Various other icon selections include icons from Crystal, crystalsvg, oxygen, and breeze icon themes.
» Other icons: fontawesome

is a site that has tools, maps, and other various items. It orignally only existed as a server control panel, but I slowly began adding stuff such as a homepage and tools.

This is an LLM-free zone. In general, I am unwilling to use (fight with) any form of "GenAI" to write code for me. So, for the forseeable future, everything on this site will continue to be written by a very silly goose (wait that's me honk honk) with some parts written by other humans as well (silly hu-mon) rather than any plausible-series-of-words token-eating machine. Even my libraries are out of date, and suddenly that's a good thing!
(Although the style has changed several times and content has been added and changed, the base of this site has barely been updated since 2015. But it Ain't Broke!)
This site is also occasionally tested with older browsers, but compatibility is not guarenteed. Although, if you have an old obscure browser and something isn't working that previously did, I guess you can tell me (nelg) about it...
