[14:04:00] <Z-Man> physkets: With the additional line I ignored earlier, this definitely looks like a mismatch. [14:04:14] <physkets> mismatch? [14:04:18] <physkets> between? [14:04:24] <Z-Man> The mismatch can be between the boost header version and library version you link with. [14:04:46] <Z-Man> Or between your compiler version used to compile arma and the one used to compile the boost lib. [14:05:24] <physkets> hmmm... I do have an up-to-date system [14:05:45] <Z-Man> And boost is from the system, not hand-installed? [14:05:57] <physkets> yes, it is from the distro's repo [14:06:09] <physkets> it was upgraded to 1.68 two days ago [14:06:13] <Z-Man> And the compiler you use, too? [14:06:32] <physkets> that is also from the distro, and is up-to-date [14:06:35] <Z-Man> Ah, if the upgrade was recent, a make clean may help. [14:06:58] <physkets> well, the installs it in a fake-root env, [14:07:10] <physkets> so all that shouldnt affect it... [14:09:00] <Z-Man> what's in the fake root? The whole distribution or just the arma compilation? [14:09:17] <Z-Man> (just trying to understand your setup, I don't think I can really help any more....) [14:12:33] <physkets> just the compilation process [14:12:51] <physkets> lemme see, if there were files leftover from a previous compile [15:34:01] *** Quits: physkets (~physkets@unaffiliated/physkets) (Quit: physkets) [16:31:38] <Z-Man> Ah, Linux. Where it only takes reading 11 documentation items, editing three config files, finding out the config options you actually want change are completely ignored, then caving in and doing a hardware configuration change from windows to get your goddammed mouse pointer to behave like it should (no accel AND still decent speed; having either was easy) [16:38:07] <Z-Man> There ostensibly is a way to configure the hardware itself from Linux, but it doesn't find the mouse and I already lost my will to push through. [16:38:35] <Z-Man> Now, on to the CD writer that started to refuse to burn since the last Ubuntu update. [16:39:45] <Z-Man> I don't even remember whether the thing can read Bluray, too. Write, probably not.
