06:15 <Lucifer> well, the limit was actually 3/4, so 9 hours in the long semesters, 6 in the short, and that was the limit
06:16 <Lucifer> so I took 9 hours the first semester, which was spring, took the summer off, and then for the fall, my wife and i said "fuck it", because if you get $1000 or more in scholarships, state schools have to charge you in-state rates
06:16 <Lucifer> even if they consider you out-of-state otherwise
06:16 <Lucifer> and that was all that mattered, price of tuition, right?  ;)

06:17 <Lucifer> anyway, the lady at UT was expecting me to try to transfer to UT asap, instead of hanging around at ACC picking up every little credit I could before transferring

06:17 <Lucifer> turns out, though, that UT also has to consider you in-state, by law, if any other school in texas has classified you as in-state for at least one year
06:18 <Lucifer> ACC's residency requirements were a little more lenient, and I've been classes in-state by them for awhile now
