However, you might be able to bodge it with AsbestOS - although bear in mind this "distro" is nigh fifteen years old now. There's also the matter of the PS3 being PowerPC architecture, so unless we're still compiling for PowerPC (which I highly doubt), you'll need to go back a number of years to find a revision that you can actually compile - assuming <clipped message>

I could be wrong, but I would assume that the version of 'buntu that ran on the PS3 all those years ago was compiled with a very specific set of flags and probably a load of compat items.
